A sweet and symbolic vintage Greek runner, this piece features two facing birds perched on either side of a blooming branch—embroidered in deep red and midnight blue on a soft, open-weave linen. The minimal placement of the motif at one end leaves generous negative space, inviting breath and simplicity. Traditionally, such birds symbolized love, harmony, and good fortune in the home—making this textile a meaningful accent for table, dresser, or altar. A piece shaped by memory and made to be passed from one hand—and heart—to the next.
As each piece was painstakingly handmade on a loom, there can be natural defects, as well as minor signs of age, appropriate to its provenance and past use, which we find quite beautiful, adding to its soul.
